Intersection is a track I wrote and recorded at home in November 2001, after being inspired by the film 'Three Colours Blue' by Krzysztof Kieślowski. I was fascinated by the terrible car crash at the start of the film and I began thinking of the minutes leading up to a car crash and how a crash survivor would look back on these minutes as if they were a dream. In one second, his or her life is changed forever, or erased from existence. I decided to use the metronome to symbolise the sound of a ticking clock building to the impact. The song was never released officially however there was once a version on mp3.com.au which received a number 1 spot in the alternative/ambient charts.
